'Speak truth each one of YOU with his neighbour, because we are members belonging to one another.' - Eph. 4:25.

All Scriptures are taken from the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures unless otherwise stated.

'Wherefore, now that YOU have put away falsehood, speak truth each one of YOU with his neighbour, because we are members belonging to one another.' - Ephesians 4:25.

As Christians, we need to show those around us the behaviour that Jesus  expects of us. One of the things he wished for, was for us to be truthful in everything we do. To act in any way that is devious, or in a way that would mislead a brother or sister in the truth - no matter what good intentions these actions may have been meant, would be a betrayal of the trust that Jesus has for us, in being representatives of his Father here on earth. For those who make a habit of doing this, there is a strong chance that any relationship with Jehovah God would wither and die, because of such lack of honesty:

'For the devious person is a detestable thing to Jehovah, but His intimacy is with the upright ones.' - Proverbs 3:32.

If a person continues to behave in a deceitful manner, apart from the damage they might cause to themselves, and their relationship with Jehovah God, there is also a chance that this behaviour could cause a rift in the congregation. Before this can happen, the person doing this wrong should examine their heart, and pray to Jehovah for the strength to change for the better. There are many examples in the bible, of sinful ones asking for Jehovah God's forgiveness for their sins. There are also those who were a fine example of the kind of person Jehovah God expects us to be. Daniel was such a one as this:

'At that time the high officials and the satraps themselves were constantly seeking to find some pretext against Daniel respecting the kingdom, but there was no pretext or corrupt thing at all that they were able to find forasmuch as he was trustworthy and no negligence or corrupt thing at all was found in him.' - Daniel 6:4.

Even Paul counselled those Christians with a heavenly hope, so that they would continue to stay united with each other in this matter:

'And he gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelizers, some as shepherds and teachers, with a view to the readjustment of the holy ones, for ministerial work, for the building up of the body of the Christ.' - Ephesians 4:11, 12.

In order to take up the challenge of living forever on a Paradise earth, we need to live our lives in truth and love, giving all we can of ourselves to the work that Jehovah God and Christ Jesus set for us, and continuing to contribute to the worldwide unity of our brothers and sisters, doing all we can for them, no matter what part of the world they might live in.

'Look! How good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!' - Psalms 133:1.

I pray that we all live with hearts filled with the love and joy that staying close to Jehovah God can bring to us, so that we can be there on that day, when Jesus hands back to Jehovah God the kingship of the earth, along with the full knowledge that Jehovah God's Sovereignty has been proven at last.
